Hi!
Great plugin to MCE.
Is it possible to do a function for saving playlists an then be able to chose from my own created playlists in songler?
Think that you also have a local copy of spotify playlist here (for integration?):
c:\Users\windows login name\AppData\Roaming\Spotify\Users\spotify-user\

The "Now playing" playlist is great. Is there a way to show all starred album/tracks (Library / Starred in Spotify player) ?
It would be great to have a link "My Favorites" on Songler home, and then show these tracks by album or artist, so that you don't have to do the search again (though browsing through recent searches is a first step to make it easier)
Thanks in advance !

When you search, it will build up a list of your most common searches, which is a variation on what you describe.

Spotify don't publish your starred items for me to pick up I'm afraid.

Thanks for you quick answer.
Most common searches will do !
BTW, is there a way we can ask Spotify to "open" their API ? I'm sure they benefit a lot from program such as Songler and should help them grow up...

I'm new to spotify, we just got it here in Denmark. I've played around with it a bit creating various playlists within the Spotify client. I'm was hoping that Songler would enable me to pick one of playlists and simply play it within Media Center in Windows 7, but so far I haven't been able to figure out if that is possible. Ideally I could pick a playlist like "my fav hits" and press play and select random and Spotify would start playing random tracks from my playlist.

I have a dedicated PC for media center connected to the TV. I very seldom use a keyboard with that PC so in my use case I would create the spotify playlists on another PC and simply use them on the dedicated media center PC. Is that possible with Songler?

I'm afraid that that is not possible with the version of their api that is availble to both free and premium members.

I know that the Mediaportal guys have solved this with thier Rockstar app.It works with Spotify and grooveshark. You can manage playlists form their app! Take a look:

What I want is not another place to make playlists (like in MCE), my playlists are already in Spotify, and I would just like to browse them.
Same as with "radio stations" in Spotify.

This way, my family can create their playlists from their computers/tabs in the Spotify interface, and then just select them using the remote in Songler/MCE, nice, ease and fast :-) No keyboard use on the media center.

As I understand your comments right now, the hold up is figuring out how you can access the individual users playlist?
