Incomplete Search Results

Hi,

I'm in the UK and PC and spotify are registered in the UK but for some reason i don't seem to be able to get a full search result on oasis using the band name, any of the album names or any of the track names. everything else seems to work for me but this was the first artist i tried.

any ideas?

Hi. I've been looking in to this, and found that the problem is that Spotify are returning albums like (What's the story) Morning Glory, but it is tagged with limited territories, and is not available in the UK. I am guessing that you are in the UK, and that is why it is not showing up. Bottom line though is that it is a Spotify issue that I can't do anything about.

actually it was even simpler than that. i had seen the other thread on this topic but ruled it as irrelevant because the Oasis albums (including whats the story) were showing up and playing in Spotify searches. What i hadn't realised was that it was playing my local copy from itunes rather than a spotify version.

That was a smart move by Spotify - play the local copy where possible. Perhaps I should merge local content in too.
