No scrobbling with mp3

Hi,

1st of all it's very nice application. Thank you very much!

I'm not sure if that is bug or just simply there is no such option, but Songler doesn't scrobble any of my mp3s played with Media Center.
When you read history of added features you can see:

1.3.0. Added the ability to Scrobble music you play in Media Center to last.fm too.

It sounds like Songler should scrobble not only last.fm music but every mp3 as well.

If everything is working as intended such an option would be very welcome. What do you think?

It should work. I know last.fm were changing their apis, so perhaps that broke it. I'll take a look. Thanks for the heads up.

Just remembered what the issue probably is. I bet you are using 64 bit aren't you. There is a step documented on 64 bit compatibility on the web site, which you should follow - you need to add something to the registry, and when installing on 64 bit systems, I can't get windows installer to add it. It's an annoying manual step that I would love to get rid of, but I don't know how. Open the .reg file and scrobbling will work for you.

Thank you for the answers. I have bad news for you - you lost your bet
I'm using W7 32bit, but unfortunatelly not English version but Polish. Maybe that's the issue?

I'll try to install Songler on my 2nd PC and will check scrobbling. I will let you know. When I'm home, I will also check registry according the link you provided http://blogs.msdn.com/b/astebner/archive/2007/08/09/4317654.aspx.
