I have sent a Twitter message to Daniel Ek (@eldsjal) asking them to re-instate autoplay, had a reply they are investigating.

First post and this is the first time for me when I just joined a forum that it will be a negative one.
I was searching for a program like this and I found your site Martin. I was happy and installed it. Off course it wouldn't work but how could I know this, your homepage isn't mentioning this at all?
After an hour of trying I saw that there was a support forum and found this thread (with a thread title which does not even provides the right name for the problem) which is telling me exactly why it isn't working.

Please change your Songler homepage to prevent people wasting there time to install it for Spotify for now till you and Spotify resolves this problem.
BTW you are not alone doing this Spotify is also stating that your programm works on their site: http://www.spotify.com/int/about/spotif ... er-addons/
and they do even mention your old program name.

I do not found this very professional behaviour. I see you ask for donations so it's not that you do it completely for free.

Mart1001,

Songler still works great for last.fm and YouTube, and for older versions of Spotify. It's Spotify that is broken though, not Songler. You are however quite right that I should put a more prominent notice about the current state of Spotify.

Latest update on the 15th of December had re-added autoplay according to the link at http://www.spotify.com/uk/blog/
Nice to see a company listening to its customers.

I'm a happy man!

Just need to work out why Spotify keeps coming to the top, and I'm set!

Yes, Spotify finally gave in to public pressure and fixed the issue. Spotify and Songler now work together perfectly again!

Make sure you have set Media Center to always be on top. That's in Tasks -> Settings -> Startup and Window Behavior -> Always keep Windows Media Center on top.
