ok, have solved the problem of not being able to log into my love film account, simple answer of having to set ie as the default browser,
next problem though is not seeing any of my rentals showing when logged in, it will tell ne that i have 3 rentals at the bottom right, but it does not show them, nor does it show ant films when i look through the generes. If i do a search for a film it finds and shows the relevant titles, but if i try and play a title i searched for it then takes me to a lovefilm browser page, clicking on the play button in the browser page then asks me to sign up to watch the film.

hope this makes sense.

Thanks. Glad you are making progress.

Can you send a screenshot of the screen so that I can understand exactly what you mean. Can you also turn on logging as described above and send a copy of your log file?

Thanks

Hi Im having the same problem although no events are in the event log

Have created the logfile in the registry as previously suggested

Have also set ie to be my main browser (ie 9)

I have also changed the last 3 numbers of my identifier for posting to 999

Versions are Windows 7 x64 SP1, with IE 9.0.8112.16421

When the error appears in media centre i get a winvnc error in the application log, so i have also disabled winvnc. Still same error. Also disabled firewall and all other media centre addins. Still same error.

Ive noticed that my ie is relatively slow when it first starts up (hence why i normally use firefox) Im just wondering if theres a timeout while it waits for a response from lovefilm.com and its not getting it fast enough or something.

Anyway This is the log file

It looks like you are having totally different problems - you aren't getting the same error occurring. What issue are you actually seeing?

hi

When I try to launch LoveFilm I get the error

INVALID APPLICATION
'Unable To Launch "LoveFilmMCE"

as people have said during this thread. I have just provided more detail around steps I have taken to diagnose the problem.

Your error seems to indicate that it gets a valid response from LoveFilm, but you have no titles at all in your queue. Is that right?

Do you have version 1.1.0 installed? I am guessing that if you had nothing in your queue, you have no titles at home either, and that version resolved an issue with that.

If you do have it, look in the event viewer for the full error message.

Thanks
