Hangs on cover art - wont play

This forum is for issues when running the MCE LoveFilm program

Thanks. I've worked out what the issue is -on the lovefilm site, you can have your rental list hidden or shown (the Hide/Show button just below Home). At the moment the video only works right if it is shown. In the next version I'll auto-detect and account for that, but for now just go to lovefilm in a browser and show that region, and it'll all work fine.

Hi folks,

I have exactly the same issue here, and I've tried checking the Rental List is shown, as per default it was.. It does seem exactly like the 'auto-mouse-pointer' is clicking too low on the screen.

IE9, Windows 7 x64... ready to buy it as soon as I can make trailers play!

Cheers

Rich,

is the video filling the screen, or is it off center? If so, have you tried using the cursor keys to get it back on center?

If it is filling the screen, send a screenshot.

Thanks

Sorry for the delay, I don't quite get what you mean. There is no video at all, just a large image (the cover art) around the top left of the screen.

OK. Try pressing up and right a few times until you get to the video.

Hi Martin, sorry for the delays, life is busy. Upgraded to latest version, still no joy.

I hit Play Trailer, and the web page loads up with the cover art in the background and their translucent "Watch Trailor" button right under the mouse pointer in the cenre of the screen.
Then, for whatever reason, the mouse pointer jumps to the bottom left hand corner where the cover art is waiting to be clicked. D'oh!

I can cause the page to scroll down very slightly, but never enough to counteract this movement. If it's not clear what is happening, perhaps I can take a capture of some sort?

Sure, take a screen shot and send it - that will help.

I also have this problem.

I have noticed that just prior to the appearance of the unwanted cover art, the 'Play' box in Internet Explorer appears to fill the entire screen as if the entire IE window is about 10 times the screen size.

Does this shed any light?

Send a screenshot of what you see please.
