I'll have a go. You don't get long to grab the image! :D

Cheers.

Hi

Image as requested (if I can master the art of including one!). It is a grab of the entire screen just before cover art appears.

OK. It looks like for some reason it is not aligning properly on your screen. Press the up/down/left/right buttons on the remote to bring the Watch Now to the bottom right on the screen, and to get the video to fill the screen.

Hi Martin

I'm sorry if I am being a bit thick!

Once I ask the software to play a film, I only get about 3 seconds before the 'cover art' appears, denoting a click on the wrong area. I cannot adjust the screen position in that length of time.

Could this all depend on what toolbars one is displaying in IE? If I added the Menu bar, the Command bar and the Favourites bar all stacked one on another, might that achieve the required postioning?

Thanks for the help.

Have you tried pressing the arrow keys? Not in the 3s - you have as long as you like to do it, and it only needs doing once.

It won't be related to toolbars. This is not IE that is running. It will be a problem to do with the way LoveFilm is rendered for you - perhaps some particular adverts or something like that.

Thank you - yes I WAS being a bit thick. It's just because I'm new to this application.

I have now adjusted it as you suggested and it is working very well.

The quality of streaming is very much superior to watching in Internet Explorer. I suspect there is a hardware acceleration issue with full-screen IE as it renders in amazing Jerk-o-vision!

Thanks for the software and the assistance.

That's good - I'm glad we got it resolved and it is working well for you. Yes, it does use hardware acceleration. IE9 should too by the way.
